The T.S.S. Logs are dedicated to technicians that repair all types of television products. If it were not for the untiring efforts and cooperation of technicians in our company, this page would not have been possible. The T.S.S. Logs are a collection of detailed symptoms and cures collected over a decade as my role as Technical Advisor for a major service and retail sales company in Southern California. It is my sincere belief that information should be shared among all technicians. The better informed we are, the better we can support the product, our customers, and provide the quality service our customers deserve.

Are you into building
H.F. mobile antennas for Ham Radio?
Here is a neat calculator the figure's out the inductance of an open air
coil for a center loaded whip. I use this to calculate coils for my 40 and 80
meter mobile antennas. They requires 5 foot mast
below and at least a 6 foot whip on top of the coil. I will post more on this subject when I start building
theses antennas again this winter.
Photos and construction details will be posted soon. dv |
